If you look a page 33 of the 1st edition of 'Equipment of the WWII Tommy' by D. B. Gordon
One of the errors for which that series is famous. An excellent guide but they do contain some errors.
3 pocket carriers were never a part of the '37 pattern set.
Has it been corrected in 2nd edition?
They are fake stamps.

I'll check in my version... however a page reference isn't so useful. Which chapter is it in?
As for mistakes... yes I spotted one concerning the No2 and No3 cookers... and that's in the new edition! But in general they're pretty damn good books.
Vest Pocket Kodak Autographic camera dated 1917. Complete with leather case and original box.
Nice for your WW1 impression. I've got one lying about somewhere here.
Still usable with 127 film (buy for a fiver a roll from here: http://www.photosupplies.co.uk/wpc/camera-film/) but tape up the back as the flap is designed to fog!

nice link
been after some film for my Lec Junior

Nice Camera ![]()
Do you mean tape up the top where you load the film? Also, any suggestions of processing?

No, the hinged slot-flap on the back - the 'autographic' part. Useless without the proper film (long since unobtainable by 70 years or so) that had a backing paper somewhat like carbon paper. Take the shot, flip open the slot and with the accessory metal stylus scribe your caption. Where you press the carbon is removed, allowing light through the back of the film and so exposes your writing. Clever and long before LED data backs came in for 35mm cameras in the '80s.
Also, make a flap to cover the wind-on red window as that will fog modern faster panchromatic films. Lift to wind on, then stick back.
Processing 127 is a bit trickier than 35mm & 120 - you need someone either who processes with a dip & dunk machine or does it by hand in small tank. Also, the convenience of 'process and scan to CD' will probably elude you as 35mm and 120 negs are fine but they won't have carriers for the small and odd-size of 127.
Try these:

These seem to be able to process & scan 127 for just £8.50 a roll: http://www.onlinefilmprocessing.co.uk/B ... ssing.html

I shouldn't worry. It's been almost 2 years since then!
bugger
Two more of the plastic badges, that total gets closer and closer in direct proportion to the cost of the badges.
A job lot of TeeEmm magazines. If you have never read this RAF new sheet then hunt one out. They are great fun and very informative.
